custom electronics, IR computer vision, openFrameworks application, modified video game engine, live projection mapping
A modified version of the CS:Source and Garry’s Mod video game engines were programmed to output a real-time holographic projection mapping of virtual sets and effects (fire, virtual set pieces, et al) on to a stage set. Additionally using openFrameworks and infrared camera computer vision, actors were tracked in real-time and re-projected with video ghost textures on their bodies.
