2K DCP looping film, 11' stereo sound, and installation with objects from production
A Method for Blue Logic enacts fantasies from Internet conspiracy forums, after the artist received emails claiming them to be an actress hired by the government to help fake a tragedy. Using these and other forum conversations as a procedural instruction guide for interpretation and self-genesis, a parallel film universe was constructed. One emergent property was the continual mentioning of the color blue. As a personal response to a stranger, the film shifts between a strange loop of cinematic fiction and absurdist para-documentary.
