A modernized version of the absurdist theatrical play of the same name by Ionesco was translated into a live immersive installation and later a multi-channel video work.

A performance and improvisational framework was devised for 25 professional and youth theater performers in a multi-floor house. Combined with footage filmed at Brion Tomb, the home was structurally modified and also installed with custom projections, sculptures, and photographs. A collaborative performance and livestream played out in realtime within the environment.
